A futures contract or “futures” is a legally binding agreement made to purchase or sell a commodity at a specific date in the future. Future contracts can range from agricultural goods such as feeder cattle and corn to oil and precious metals.
Each futures contract (a specific type of future) is a different market with different price movements and behaviors. What is Forex Trading?
The word 'Forex' stands for Foreign Exchange. The Forex market is the largest, most liquid market in the world with about $5 Trillion in trade volume per day. This trade volume dwarfs the largest stock market, the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), which has a meager daily trade volume of about 50 billion dollars (that's about 100:1 when compared with the Forex market).
When trading Forex pairs, it involves buying a currency and selling another currency simultaneously. For example, if you buy EUR/USD, it means you are buying Euros and selling US dollars.
